WHAT THE APP HELPS YOU DO

Build practical skills one small action at a time.

The app combines learning, practice, reusable tools, and safety guidance in one place. Each part has a clear job.

Learn one focused concept

Work through short lessons that explain an AI idea, show a workplace example, summarize the key point, and flag what to watch out for.

Follow a guided course

See your course progress, identify today's available lesson, and move through the lessons in a clear order instead of guessing what to study next.

Check your understanding

Complete the Knowledge Check after a lesson, then use AI Skills Practice for five additional questions each day.

Adapt work-ready prompts

Search templates by task, open a useful prompt, replace the words in brackets with your details, and copy it into the AI tool you use.

Avoid common AI risks

Use the Safety Checklist and Glossary when you need a reminder about sensitive information, verification, copyright, or unfamiliar terms.

Return to weak spots

Questions you miss can stay available in Review, giving you a focused place to revisit the topics that need more attention.

SCREEN-BY-SCREEN GUIDE

How to use AI Skills for Work.

Follow these screens in order for your first session. The numbered markers on each screenshot match the instructions beside it.

Current Home screen with numbered markers for today's lesson, AI Skills Practice, and shortcuts 123

STEP 1 - HOME

Start from one clear next action.

The Home screen brings today's learning and the main tools together. You can begin without searching through menus.

  1. 1Tap Start on today's lesson. The illustrated course card shows today's lesson title and your progress.
  2. 2Use AI Skills Practice. The card shows how many of today's five extra questions remain.
  3. 3Use the shortcuts when needed. Review, Prompt Library, Safety Checklist, Glossary, course selection, and Settings are available from the same screen.

Beginner tip: Start with the large illustrated lesson card. You do not need to understand every shortcut before your first lesson.

STEP 2 - LEARN

Follow the course in a clear order.

The Learn screen shows where you are in the selected course and which lesson is available now.

  1. 1Check course progress. The course card shows completed lessons out of the total.
  2. 2Change course only when you want to. Use Change course to select a different learning path.
  3. 3Follow the lesson timeline. Completion marks, category labels, and the ordered cards make your current position easy to scan.

Recommended approach: Complete the current lesson before switching courses so your progress remains easy to understand.

STEP 3 - LIBRARY

Adapt a prompt instead of starting from a blank page.

The Library includes prompts for common work tasks plus separate Safety and Glossary references.

  1. 1Choose Prompts, Safety, or Glossary. Use the tabs according to whether you need a template, a risk reminder, or a definition.
  2. 2Search by task or keyword. Try a practical term such as email, summary, or meeting.
  3. 3Narrow the list with categories. Saved shows prompts you bookmarked for quick reuse.
  4. 4Open, adapt, and copy. Read the full template, replace every item in brackets with your own non-sensitive details, then tap Copy.

Important: A prompt is a starting structure, not a finished answer. Review the AI output for accuracy, tone, and missing context.

AFTER EACH LESSON

Use the Knowledge Check to find what needs another look.

The learning flow continues after reading. A Knowledge Check tests the key idea, and missed questions can be revisited from Review.

1. Finish the lesson

Read the workplace example, key takeaway, and caution before moving on.

2. Answer one question

Choose the best answer, then read the explanation instead of only checking whether you were right.

3. Return through Review

If you miss a question, use Review from Home to revisit that specific weak spot later.

BEFORE YOU USE AI OUTPUT

Pause for a practical safety check.

The app helps you recognize common risks, but your organization and your own review still determine what is safe to use.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions before you get started.

Here are quick answers to the questions new AI learners often ask.

Do I need any AI or technical experience?

No. AI Skills for Work is designed for beginners. Lessons introduce one idea at a time and use practical workplace examples instead of technical explanations.

How long does a lesson take?

The daily lesson is designed to take about three minutes. You can then complete its Knowledge Check and optionally use AI Skills Practice.

Does the app generate AI answers for me?

No. The app teaches practical AI skills and provides prompt templates. You adapt a template, copy it, and use it with the AI tool approved for your work.

Can I use the prompt templates exactly as written?

Use them as a starting structure. Replace every item in brackets with relevant, non-sensitive details, then review the prompt before copying it.

What happens if I answer a Knowledge Check or practice question incorrectly?

Where is my learning progress stored?

Completed lessons and question progress are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to an AI service by this app.

Can I enter confidential company information into a prompt?

Do not enter confidential, personal, credential, or unreleased company information. Follow your organization's AI, privacy, and security policies before using any external AI tool.

Can I change to a different course?
