This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled through the Services, why it is used, and the choices available to users.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 1. Scope and Definition of Personal Information<\/h2>\n<p>This Privacy Policy applies to the Services operated by Choppli.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPersonal Information\u201d has the meaning given to it under Japan\u2019s Act on the Protection of Personal Information. This Privacy Policy also covers other information associated with a user or device, including IP addresses, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, diagnostic information and usage data, whether or not that information qualifies as Personal Information.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 2. Information Handled by the Services<\/h2>\n<h3>Information entered in the Application<\/h3>\n<p>The Application allows users to enter and store the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subscription or service name<\/li>\n<li>Price, currency and billing cycle<\/li>\n<li>Next renewal date<\/li>\n<li>Subscription status, such as active, considering cancellation, potentially unnecessary, free trial or cancelled<\/li>\n<li>Category and free trial end date<\/li>\n<li>Notes entered by the user<\/li>\n<li>Application preferences, including display language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Information submitted through the contact form<\/h3>\n<p>When a user contacts us through the contact form, we receive the information the user chooses to submit through that form.<\/p>\n<h3>Information collected through advertising services<\/h3>\n<p>The Application uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google\u2019s User Messaging Platform. Depending on the user\u2019s device, settings and consent choices, these services may collect information such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IP address and approximate location derived from the IP address<\/li>\n<li>Advertising identifiers and other device or application identifiers<\/li>\n<li>Application launches, taps and other interactions<\/li>\n<li>Advertisements displayed and interactions with those advertisements<\/li>\n<li>Application and SDK performance or diagnostic information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Article 3. Local Storage of Subscription Data<\/h2>\n<p>Subscription information and application preferences entered by users are stored locally on the user\u2019s device. The Application does not currently include a cloud synchronization feature or a function that sends this subscription information to a server operated by Choppli.<\/p>\n<p>A device or operating system provider may include locally stored application data in a device backup, depending on the user\u2019s backup settings. Any such backup is controlled by the relevant device or operating system provider and is subject to that provider\u2019s terms and privacy policy.<\/p>\n<p>Information submitted through the contact form is processed using Google Forms and is not stored solely on the user\u2019s device.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 4. How We Use Information<\/h2>\n<p>Information handled through the Services is used for the following purposes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To record and display subscription prices, billing cycles, renewal dates and statuses<\/li>\n<li>To save application preferences selected by the user<\/li>\n<li>To receive, review and respond to inquiries<\/li>\n<li>To display banner advertisements in the Application<\/li>\n<li>To manage advertisement frequency and measure advertising performance<\/li>\n<li>To detect and prevent invalid or fraudulent advertising activity<\/li>\n<li>To diagnose technical problems and improve the reliability of advertising-related functions<\/li>\n<li>To obtain and manage consent where required for advertising<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Article 5. Advertising and Google Services<\/h2>\n<h3>Google AdMob<\/h3>\n<p>The Application uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. Depending on the user\u2019s location, device settings and consent choices, Google may provide personalized, non-personalized or limited advertisements.<\/p>\n<p>The Application uses Google\u2019s User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent where required. A consent message provided by Google may be displayed based on the user\u2019s location and other applicable conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Users can manage advertising identifiers and tracking permissions through their device\u2019s privacy or advertising settings. Advertising preferences associated with Google services can also be managed through My Ad Center.<\/p>\n<h3>Google Forms<\/h3>\n<p>We use Google Forms to receive inquiries. Google may process information submitted through the form and may use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with the user\u2019s Google settings and Google\u2019s privacy practices.<\/p>\n<p>Additional information about Google\u2019s privacy practices and advertising controls is available at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/policies.google.com\/privacy?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Privacy Policy<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/myadcenter.google.com\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google My Ad Center<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We do not intentionally send subscription names, prices, renewal dates, categories or notes entered in the Application to Google for advertising purposes.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 6. Sharing of Information<\/h2>\n<p>We do not sell Personal Information.<\/p>\n<p>We may disclose or allow access to information in the following circumstances:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When the user has given consent<\/li>\n<li>When necessary to use a service provider that supports the operation of the Services, including Google Forms and Google AdMob<\/li>\n<li>When disclosure is required by applicable law or a valid legal process<\/li>\n<li>When necessary to protect the life, safety, rights or property of a person and obtaining prior consent is impracticable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Subscription information stored locally in the Application is not intentionally provided by us to advertising providers.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 7. International Data Processing<\/h2>\n<p>Google and other providers involved in operating Google Forms or delivering advertisements may process information on servers located outside Japan. The countries in which information is processed may have privacy and data protection laws that differ from those of Japan.<\/p>\n<p>Information processed by these providers is handled under their respective terms, privacy policies and applicable legal obligations.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 8. Security<\/h2>\n<p>We take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the information we handle to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.<\/p>\n<p>Users are responsible for protecting information stored on their devices. We recommend using a device screen lock, installing operating system security updates and appropriately managing access to the device and related accounts.<\/p>\n<p>No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 9. User Choices and Requests<\/h2>\n<h3>Information stored in the Application<\/h3>\n<p>Users can review, edit or delete individual subscription records using the functions available in the Application. Users may use their device\u2019s application management or uninstall features to remove application data from the device. The effect of deletion or uninstallation may vary depending on operating system and backup settings.<\/p>\n<h3>Information held by Choppli<\/h3>\n<p>Where applicable under law, users may request access to, correction or deletion of, or restriction of the use of, Personal Information held by us. Requests may be submitted through the contact form listed in Article 14. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify the identity of the person making the request.<\/p>\n<h3>Information held by Google<\/h3>\n<p>Requests concerning information processed by Google should be made through Google\u2019s privacy controls or the contact methods provided by Google.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 10. Children\u2019s Privacy<\/h2>\n<p>Minors should use the Services with the consent or supervision of a parent or legal guardian where appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>Users should not enter Personal Information that is unnecessary for managing subscriptions or making an inquiry, including in the Application\u2019s notes field or the contact form.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 11. External Links<\/h2>\n<p>The Services may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy, security or content practices of those third parties. Users should review the privacy policy and terms of each external service before providing information to it.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 12. Disclaimer<\/h2>\n<p>Information displayed by the Application, including renewal dates, prices and subscription statuses, is based on information entered by the user. Users should confirm actual charges, contract terms, renewal conditions and cancellation procedures directly with the relevant service provider.<\/p>\n<p>We do not warrant that information provided through the Services will always be accurate, complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in this Privacy Policy excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 13. Copyright and Portrait Rights<\/h2>\n<p>Unless otherwise stated, text, images, illustrations, designs and other content made available through the Services are owned by us or their respective rights holders. Such content may not be reproduced, modified, redistributed or otherwise used without authorization, except as permitted by law.<\/p>\n<p>If you believe that content available through the Services infringes copyright, portrait rights or another right, please notify us through the contact form listed in Article 14.<\/p>\n<h2>Article 14.
