This Privacy Policy explains how Choppli handles information in connection with the Savings Counter smartphone application (the \u201cApp\u201d) and its related website (the \u201cWebsite\u201d). Choppli handles personal information in accordance with Japan\u2019s Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable rules.<\/p>\n
In this Policy, \u201cpersonal information\u201d has the meaning given to it by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.<\/p>\n
The App stores the following information locally on the user\u2019s device:<\/p>\n
This locally stored information is used to provide the App\u2019s recording, summary, history, settings, and improvement-related functions. The App does not send these savings records, settings, or local usage statistics to a server operated by Choppli.<\/p>\n
Users can delete individual savings records or all savings records from within the App. Other locally stored App data can be removed by deleting the App, subject to the device operating system and any backup or restore settings controlled by the user or platform provider.<\/p>\n
The App can open the device\u2019s sharing function with a text summary of monthly results. Information is provided to a selected third-party app or recipient only when the user chooses to share it. The selected service\u2019s own terms and privacy policy apply after the information is shared.<\/p>\n
When a user accesses the Website, technical information necessary to deliver the page, such as the IP address, access date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser or device type, and user-agent information, may be transmitted to the web server.<\/p>\n
The Website is operated using WordPress and may use cookies or similar browser storage where necessary for site operation, security, or user settings. Users can restrict or delete cookies through their browser settings, although doing so may affect some site functions.<\/p>\n
Choppli uses Google Forms to receive bug reports and feature requests. When a user submits the form, Choppli receives the information voluntarily entered in the report or request. Google may also process technical, device, browser, account, or access information in accordance with Google\u2019s own policies.<\/p>\n
The submitted information is used to review reported issues, consider requested improvements, maintain the App and Website, and prevent misuse. The form states that individual replies are not provided. Users should not submit passwords, payment information, confidential information, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for the report.<\/p>\n

In connection with ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention, Google and its advertising partners may collect or use information such as IP addresses, device and app identifiers, advertising identifiers where available, device information, and information about ad impressions or interactions.<\/p>\n Depending on the user\u2019s region, settings, consent choices, and eligibility, advertising may be personalized or non-personalized. Information may be processed by Google when users access the Google Forms contact form or when the App uses Google AdMob, as described in this Policy. Google maintains servers in multiple countries, and information may therefore be processed outside Japan. The countries and processing locations may vary depending on Google\u2019s service infrastructure.<\/p>\n Information shared by a user through the device\u2019s sharing function is provided to the third-party service or recipient selected by that user.<\/p>\n Choppli takes reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the information under its control to help prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. Information stored locally by the App is also affected by the security, backup, and access-control settings of the user\u2019s device. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.<\/p>\n Users may submit requests concerning access, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of personal information held by Choppli through the contact form in Article 4. Choppli will review each request within the scope required by applicable law and may ask for information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant record or confirm the requester\u2019s identity.<\/p>\n Data stored only on the user\u2019s device is not held by Choppli and should be managed using the App\u2019s deletion functions or the device\u2019s App-management functions.<\/p>\n If a minor provides personal information through the contact form, the minor should obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian when required based on the minor\u2019s age and circumstances. The App and Website are not specifically directed to children.<\/p>\n The App and Website may link to services operated by third parties, including Google Forms and Google privacy or advertising settings pages. Choppli does not control how those third parties handle information. Users should review the terms and privacy policies of the relevant service.<\/p>\n The Website provides information about the App, but does not guarantee any particular savings result. Choppli makes reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate and current, but the content may be changed or removed. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Choppli is not responsible for losses arising solely from the use of external websites or services linked from the App or Website.<\/p>\n Copyright, portrait rights, and other rights in text, images, designs, and other content on the Website belong to Choppli or their respective rights holders. Unauthorized reproduction or reuse is prohibited except as permitted by law.
