「語学プレイヤー」（以下「本アプリ」）は、ラジオ講座・端末の音声と動画・YouTube を使った語学学習を助けるアプリです。本アプリには独自のアカウント登録やログインはなく、運営者のサーバーに学習の内容を集めることはありません。このポリシーでは、本アプリが扱う情報と、その使い方を説明します。
1. 端末の中にだけ保存する情報
次の情報は、利用者の端末の中に保存し、運営者には送りません。
- 学習の記録（学習時間・連続日数・練習した文）、再生位置、マーク、A-B 区間、単語帳、ディクテーションの入力、設定
- 取り込んだファイル、保存した聴き逃しの音声
- 「録音して比べる」で録音した自分の声
- AI 文字起こしの結果（文字起こしは端末の中で行い、音声を外部の認識サーバーへ送りません）
端末のバックアップの設定によっては、学習の記録などが利用者自身のバックアップ（Android は Google アカウントのバックアップ、iOS は iCloud バックアップ）に含まれます。これらは利用者のアカウントに保存され、運営者には届きません。
2. 外部のサービスへの接続
本アプリは、次の場面で外部のサービスに接続します。接続するときは、利用者の IP アドレスや端末・通信の情報が、それぞれの提供者に届きます。
- NHK らじる★らじる の聴き逃し：講座の一覧の取得・ストリーミング再生・保存。本アプリは NHK とは関係のない非公式のアプリです。
- YouTube：本アプリは YouTube API サービス（埋め込みのプレーヤーと oEmbed）を使います。動画を追加・再生するときに、動画の ID が YouTube に送られます。YouTube から得た題名・チャンネル名・サムネイルの URL、再生位置・マーク・区間は端末の中にだけ保存します。YouTube の利用には YouTube 利用規約（https://www.youtube.com/t/terms）が、情報の扱いには Google プライバシーポリシー（https://policies.google.com/privacy）が適用されます。
- AI 文字起こしのモデルの取得：モデルのファイルを Hugging Face から取得します。利用者の音声は送りません。
- 辞書・ウェブ検索：調べたい語を、利用者が選んだ辞書アプリやウェブ検索に渡します。
3. 広告
本アプリは Google AdMob による広告を表示します。AdMob は、広告の配信・効果の測定・不正の防止のために、広告 ID などの端末の識別子、端末とアプリの情報、IP アドレスから推定したおおよその地域、広告の表示や操作の情報を集めることがあります。詳しくは「Google のサービスを使うサイトやアプリから収集した情報の Google による使用」（https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites）をご覧ください。
iOS 版では、利用者に合わせた広告（パーソナライズ広告）を表示せず、他社の App や Web サイトをまたいだトラッキングの許可も求めません。Android 版の広告のパーソナライズは、端末の設定（設定 → Google → 広告）で止めることができます。
4. 不具合の解析と機能の配信
本アプリは、不具合の修正と品質の改善のために Google の Firebase を使います。
- Firebase Crashlytics：アプリが落ちたときの記録（発生箇所、端末の機種、OS とアプリの版、Firebase のインストール ID など）
- Firebase Performance Monitoring：起動や通信の時間などの性能の情報
- Firebase Remote Config：機能のオンとオフの設定を受け取る（このときに Firebase のインストール ID を使います）
これらに、利用者の名前・連絡先・学習の内容・録音は含めません。Firebase の情報の扱いは https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy をご覧ください。
5. 端末の機能へのアクセス
本アプリは、次の目的でだけ端末の機能にアクセスします。許可は端末の設定でいつでも変えられます。許可しないと、対応する機能が使えないことがあります。
- 音声ファイル・ミュージックライブラリ：端末の音声を一覧して再生するため
- 写真と動画：端末の動画を一覧して再生するため
- マイク：「録音して比べる」で自分の声を録音するため（録音は端末の中にだけ保存します）
- 通知：保存・文字起こしの進み具合、新着の回、学習のお知らせのため
6. 保存する期間と削除
端末の中の情報は、利用者が削除するまで保存します。
- 保存した聴き逃しは、回の一覧の［保存した回を削除］や、設定の［保存した聴き逃し］→［すべて削除］で消せます。消すと、その回の AI 文字起こし・録音・波形も消えます。
- 単語帳・録音・取り込んだファイルは、それぞれの画面から消せます。
- 本アプリを削除すると、アプリの中の情報は消えます。Android で保存した聴き逃し（端末の Music/語学プレイヤー/）は端末の共有のフォルダにあるため、アプリを削除した後も残ることがあります。その場合はファイル管理アプリで消してください。
- 広告と Firebase が集めた情報は、Google の定める期間と方法で扱われます。
7. 子どもの利用
本アプリは、子どもから意図して個人の情報を集めることはありません。
8. 安全のために
本アプリの通信は HTTPS で暗号化します。
9. このポリシーの変更
このポリシーを変えるときは、このページを更新し、制定日・改定日を改めます。大きな変更は、アプリの中やストアの説明でもお知らせします。

Language Player (“the app”) helps you study languages with radio courses, the audio and video files on your device, and YouTube. The app has no accounts or sign-in, and the operator does not collect what you study on any server. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
1. Information kept only on your device
The following stays on your device and is not sent to the operator:
- Study records (study time, streaks, practiced sentences), playback positions, marks, A-B sections, vocabulary cards, dictation input and settings
- Imported files and saved catch-up radio episodes
- Your own voice recorded with Record and compare
- AI transcription results (transcription runs on your device; audio is not sent to any external recognition server)
Depending on your device’s backup settings, study records may be included in your own backup (Google account backup on Android, iCloud backup on iOS). These backups are stored in your account and never reach the operator.
2. Connections to external services
The app connects to the following services. When it does, your IP address and device and network information reach each provider.
- NHK Radiru*Radiru catch-up radio: course lists, streaming and saving episodes. The app is an unofficial app and is not affiliated with NHK.
- YouTube: the app uses YouTube API Services (the embedded player and oEmbed). When you add or play a video, its video ID is sent to YouTube. Titles, channel names and thumbnail URLs obtained from YouTube, and your playback positions, marks and sections, are stored only on your device. Your use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and information is handled under the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
- AI transcription models: model files are downloaded from Hugging Face. Your audio is not sent.
- Dictionaries and web search: the word you look up is passed to the dictionary app or web search you choose.
3. Advertising
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and prevent fraud, AdMob may collect device identifiers such as the advertising ID, device and app information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about ad views and interactions. See “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
On iOS, the app does not show personalized ads and does not ask for permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. On Android, you can turn off ad personalization in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
4. Crash reports and feature delivery
The app uses Google Firebase to fix problems and improve quality:
- Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports (where the crash happened, device model, OS and app versions, Firebase installation ID, etc.)
- Firebase Performance Monitoring: performance data such as startup and network timings
- Firebase Remote Config: receives settings that turn features on or off (uses the Firebase installation ID)
These do not include your name, contact details, what you study or your recordings. See https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy for how Firebase handles data.
5. Device permissions
The app uses device features only for the following purposes. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings; some features may not work without them.
- Audio files / Media & Apple Music: to list and play the audio on your device
- Photos and videos: to list and play the videos on your device
- Microphone: to record your own voice for Record and compare (recordings stay on your device)
- Notifications: progress of saving and transcription, new episodes, and study reminders
6. Retention and deletion
Information on your device is kept until you delete it.
- Saved episodes can be deleted one by one with “Delete saved episode” in the episode list, or all at once in Settings > Saved episodes > Delete all. Deleting an episode also deletes its AI transcription, recordings and waveform.
- Vocabulary cards, recordings and imported files can be deleted from their screens.
- Uninstalling the app removes the information inside the app. On Android, saved episodes are in a shared folder (Music/語学プレイヤー/) and may remain after uninstalling; delete them with a file manager.
- Information collected by advertising and Firebase is handled for the periods and in the ways Google specifies.
7. Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security
The app’s network connections are encrypted with HTTPS.
9. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, this page is updated along with its effective and revision dates. Significant changes are also announced in the app or in the store listing.
